Richard's P.O.V
"Were you guys just talking?" I asked them. To think Jennifer and Hannah talking and being alone in the same room made me feel very anxious. Jennifer was trying to hide it but she looked angry while Hannah looked as happy as ever.
"Yes, I was waiting for you to come back and I saw her coming inside. I just wanted to explain to her. You told me this is her apartment right? Just wanted to make sure if it was okay for me to stay here until we find a place for us." Hannah said smiling at me so sweetly which was almost weird. I had to look away.
"Yes, well, I'm going to bed, goodnight." Jennifer left without even giving me a second glance. I'd be lying if I say it didn't sting.
"Where'd you go?" Hannah took a step towards me once Jennifer had left.
"Just out." I lied.
