Jayden and I walked through the pack house and headed outside.
I stepped behind Jayden and looked around. I stared around, but I was met with many disapproving looks.
I could feel movement in my head, and Nyx was up on all fours.
"They need to back off," she growled, staring around at everyone.
I didn't say anything.
I felt so out of place.
Jayden looked over his shoulder at me.
"You okay?" he asked, sounding concerned.
I gave him a nod.
"Come on," he said. "We will get some drinks, and I will introduce you to some pack members."
I stared at him, but he smiled.
"It will break the ice," he said calmly.
I don't know about that.
Jayden turned back and looked around before he moved away.
I followed him but kept my eyes trained on his back.
