When Marvin put her down on the bed, Juliette opened her eyes a little to see what it looked like. The hotel wasn't the most impressive and neither was the hotel room. It was a one room with a washroom and a small kitchen unit attached. There was only one window and some random decorative pieces here and there. It was a standard room of average quality.
After inspecting the room, Juliette was about to fall asleep again but unexpectedly, the bed dipped next to her, which startled the soul out of her.
"Don't pretend, I know you are awake," Marvin's hot breath spilled over her cheek. Her eyes trembled, giving away her acting.
Since he already knew, she simply opened her eyes and turned sideways. Marvin was lying down next to her with a smile.
