Ember woke up in an unfamiliar room. The blinding lights made it hard for her to see where she actually was, but the scent was quite familiar to her. High ceiling, huge, comfortable bed, and the scent of someone she knew assaulted her senses when she turned and buried her face in the pillow. “Oh, god!” She groaned. Pain shot through her body when she tried to move out of bed. Then she remembered everything that happened. The hunters attack Bresmont, she was captured and taken to their camp and she was tortured.
