Naomi I watched Erik closely as he cleaned his plate. It was the first time I had cooked for him and as I watched him, I felt a sense of pride. He had enjoyed it. “That was incredible,” he said as he set his fork and knife down. “Probably the best beef stroganoff I’ve ever had,” “I doubt that, but thank you,” I remarked as I stood up to clear the table. Not only had he helped himself to a second plate, but the baked bread and tossed salad were also done. I didn’t mind it, since he had enjoyed it.
