Kaya was right, Mary Elizabeth thought as she sat there with her granddaughter. She had pushed away and blamed everyone else for the death of Kaya's parents. She could have stepped up and raised Kaya's or at least helped Joseph in doing so. But she didn't want to take the chance of the pain if something had happened to her. Kaya was definitely a true pure hearted Queen as the Nanny had said she was. She hugged her granddaughter tightly and thanked her. "You don't know how much you have just opened my eyes to make me realize I was constantly hurting myself as well as everyone around me. That has caused more pain than any loss" She confessed to Kaya.
