I couldn't hear the rest of her words neither could I process them, I tried really hard to but I couldn't, it all came out garbled.
All I could hear was the fast beating of my heart and how ragged my breathing was. My vision blurred and the phone clattered to the ground as my grip slackened.
"Anna!!!" Janice cried out rushing over to me just as my legs gave way. I collapsed into her arms.
"What's wrong?" I heard Mason asked. "I don't know" she replied cupping my cheeks making me look at her.
"Anna you're scaring us, please just tell us what is wrong? Is Aunt Alice okay? What happened?"
