SILENCE greeted Janni when she reached the apartment. The place is pretty much the same as when she left three days ago. Pristine clean like it always was.
As she promised her Mama Becca, she stayed with her parents for a while. For three days, she and Leonel correspond through texts only and a single call. A voice call.
Still gloomy, she pushed the bedroom open. Her eyes widen when she saw the person on the bed.
Slowly, she strolled towards it.
Leonel is peacefully sleeping on her front. She was in her jammies. Beside her were different kinds of chocolates. Mostly with almond nuts.
Janni placed her things on the floor before she kneeled beside the bed.
