“I am not losing!” Kiara snapped, and I watched as she discreetly tried to grab some fake bills from Brandon’s side as he had taken the role of a bank when they all decided to play monopoly.
“I don’t understand why they even try?” Scarlett murmured from my left. When I glanced at her, she added on a sly smirk, “My knight always wins.”
“That’s only because he knows how to manipulate things into his favor.” Bree responded from my right.
“Yeah, and don’t forget that unlike Kiara who just got caught by my husband, Alex had already wiped half the stack of bills without anyone knowing.” I pointed out.
“He is a genius, my knight.” She replied, sounding too proud like it was something to brag about.
