As for little Chloe, Sebastian had made his plans.

In the study, Sebastian sat behind his desk, talking on the phone with Charles. He managed to talk Charles and his wife out of coming over to visit, allowing only a final visit with their granddaughter on the last day.
After ending the call, a housekeeper knocked on the door. "Sir, Lawyer Shaw is here."
Right, it was that same Mr. Shaw.
Sebastian replied casually, "Let him in."
