Amanda sat by me on the couch and squeezed my knee. “So, Rocco just told me that you and Sebastien are seeing each other?” She grabbed my shoulder and shook me hard. “Is that true? Oh my God! Like, really?”
Whenever I needed my friends to know something about me but didn’t feel like calling anyone, I’d only have to tell Rocco and voilà—mission accomplished. In a matter of hours, everyone in our tight circle knew. Rocco was our permanent news-feed.
I leaned back against the seat. “Yes, we are,” I said, the very words thrilling me.
