“Now that we are all settled. William, are you going to tell us why you are here?” Aimee asked him. She and the immediate Royal family were gathered in the conference room. Maddie and Rose had them bring everyone’s dinner into the conference room. Maddie had planned on staying with Danny; however, William commanded them to leave. That needed to be discussed only with immediate family members. Danny felt insulted, but William left no room for argument. And given that William was a god, Danny and Maddie had no choice but to obey him. Everyone ate in silence, with Kalea double-checking that Eddie was okay every few minutes. Once they concluded dinner and the plates were taken away, Aimee got back to business.
