MIRANDA'S POV Seeing an old man like Cindy's father crying and begging was a sight that I was never going to forget. If he hadn't done anything I would have felt sorry for him. I couldn't even imagine what it must have felt like for him to watch his daughter melt into liquid right before him. Somehow I got the impression that Cindy was exactly like her father, I mean sure he was distraught over the death of his daughter but what I saw In his eyes was more fear of his own life than grieving for his dead daughter. The king wasn't moved by the tears that Cindy's father was shedding or the drama he was causing in the courthouse as his daughter melted. I had never seen him looking so cold and uncaring the way he did now he just wanted them both dead and gone and I cannot say I blamed him for
