MIRANDA’S POV Life in this small town was pretty simple Ms. Caroline had a bakery and I had started working there with two other girls, she had employed me as the cashier and she was teaching me how to bakewhile the other girls were waitresses, she also mentioned that I would occasionally be required to help the waitresses. When she offered me  salary I declined because I felt like she had already gone out of her way to make me feel at home but she told me she didn't feel want to feel like she was taking advantage of me.  I hadn’t made any friends yet but I was content with the quality of life that I was living.
