MIRANDA’S POV
Ever since I had gotten back here I had barely slept. The only day that I slept properly was when I spent the night with William, being alone in my room in this huge palace reminded me a lot of the time when I was Tomas’s prisoner. I knew it was different this time and I did feel a little better knowing that the king knew of my presence in the palace but I still didn't feel very safe knowing Tomas was just down the hall and he could sneak into my room at any moment.
When I woke up the following morning I decided that I would stay in my room until the king finally called us for the second part of our meeting with him.
