WILLIAM'S POV
I was not only shocked but also hurt and disappointed in Tomas when Miranda exposed just how deep his torture went. She had never told me the full story of what Tomas had done to her, I knew bits and pieces. I knew he got her pregnant and Cindy caused her to lose the baby and I also knew that there was a lot of physical abuse but I never thought the emotional abuse ran so deep.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked her as I sat on her bed and put on my shirt
"Tell you what?" she asked her back turned to me making it clear that this wasn't something that she wanted us to discuss with me.
"Why didn't you tell me everything that Tomas did to you?" I asked as I followed her to the bathroom
"Because that is irrelevant information and I did not want to relive that horror show" she
