I am in the kitchen, drinking coffee as Levi showers. I didn’t think last night would be so hard in my apartment alone. I guess I was wrong. I tried to talk myself out of coming here, but in the end, I gave in. Maybe moving out was a bad idea, or it will take some adjusting. I have never felt such a need to be close to someone like I do with Levi.
“Um, didn’t you move out, little sister?” I hear Jared chuckle from behind me.
“I did,” I reply.
He appears in front of me, pouring himself a coffee, “Then why are you sitting in my kitchen drinking coffee?” he asks and raises his brow at me.
“I may have sneaked in at like four.” I snicker.
“Why?” he asks, concerned.
“Because I couldn’t sleep. I probably shouldn’t have stayed alone on my first night.” I sigh.
