I leave work after my shift. I am shattered because it has been a long day. All I wanted to do was go home, take a shower and relax for a couple of hours. I have the house to myself. Levi is working late, and Jared has a date or a hook-up. I can’t keep up with him. I hope Levi is home before Jared so I can spend time with him.
Tomorrow is the day that we are going to tell Jared. I don’t know who is more nervous, Levi or me. I don’t know how to tell him, but we will work out because it is the right thing.
I stop to look through my bag for my earphones for the walk home. As I am trying to find them, I feel a presence behind me, and I don’t get a good feeling from it. I take my body spray from my bag, which I will use if I am in any sort of danger and swing around to see who it is.
