CLEIN The driving rain seemed like a thousand daggers pricking my eyes, but my legs pounded onward regardless of the discomfort. Deep within the ancient, rain-soaked forest, the atmosphere grew thick with the aroma of moist dirt and pine on what was supposed to be a spectacular hunting ground. A snicker escaped my lips. How had things gotten to this? The silly event has degenerated into a nightmare, completely out of control. "Whoever organized this, I will surely kick his ass!" I exclaimed.
