-CLEIN- My brow furrowed when Sun Gunnar and I emerged from the cave. With the aid of the night sky luminaries, I realized that we were on an intermittent river bank beneath a small cliff. Then I spotted a few of Sun Gunnar's men outside. They crouched cautiously among the shrubs spread out in the natural chamber's entryway, aware of their surroundings. My legs stopped moving when I recognized it was déjà vu. "What are they doing?" I questioned Sun Gunnar as I peered out into a shadowy section of the woods. Dread rose in my gut as I thought about our prior encounter with the massive reptiles.
