The sun wasn’t even fully up yet, but I was dressed and ready. The place was quiet, except for the distant steps of my security team and staff members doing their duties. Good. Everything needed to run smooth this morning.
I knocked once on Alina's door.
"Stay in here. No matter what you hear," I said through the door.
No answer. That was better than her arguing which I didn't want to do right now. It would only put me in a bad mood and then I'll probably end up killing someone if I didn't like what I heard.
I didn't want my dark side to come out, not with Alina around. So, I decided to tone it down a bit for now.
My meetings with these men were always intense. One wrong move and one of them would either be dead or on his way to the hospital with multiple broken bones.
