(Alina) I don't know why I couldn't just keep my damn mouth shut. I knew Damian, knew just how powerful he was and because he was treating me so well I decided to use that against him. Now I'm in a heap of mess as I looked at him, his expression turning dark as he glared at me. I swallowed, hoping that I could somehow let him see that I wasn't afraid of him. But right now, all I wanted was to disappear and never be in this situation again. "Repeat what you just said." Damian said. I took a shaky breath. “That I wanted to leave,” I repeated, quieter this time. Damian’s eyes narrowed, and before I could even blink, he grabbed my arm. His grip was tight, but not enough to hurt—just enough to show me he wasn’t playing around. My heart pounded in my chest as he dragged me down the hall.
