(Damian) I sat at the kitchen table going through the last batch of wedding invitations. Alina was across from me, her legs pulled up on the chair, writing names in neat letters. I looked at her, the little bump under her shirt barely showing. "That’s the last one," she said, placing the envelope in the box. I nodded and closed the lid. "Good.
