CHAPTER FIFTY-NINE
“You guys didn’t wait long for me, did you?” I questioned as I joined the familiar six faces outside the motel. I placed a quick peck on Lucian’s lips then shifted my weight to one leg.
“Of course, not cousin. We were here for just like…thirty minutes. I mean who is counting?” Peggy said sarcastically.
“I’m sorry. Ian needed me,”
“Let’s just get this done with,” Lucian brushed past me a tad bit harshly. I had a feeling things were about to go downhill but deep down I was hoping that this was indeed my last interaction with Ian. I didn’t want to ruin my relationship with Lucian because of my former flame.
