CHAPTER NINETEEN “What time did you even get back in the house? I didn’t hear you crawling in bed,” Peggy questioned as I stifled yet another yawn as we walked into gym class the following day.   “Two something, I think,” I answered, barely dragging myself through the field. Mrs. Hudson thought it was apparently a great idea to have an open field gym class with the sun burning hot. Wasn’t it enough that indoor gym classes were already the worst in my list and now I have to deal with this?   “Two something? And you want me to believe that all you did was just talk? Come on girl, spill the dits,” I was happy that she was back to the Peggy I used to know. Unbelievably enough, I had missed this side of her for the past few days even though I was still a bit a curious of what talk she had
