QUINN
RACHEL was working in the coffee shop today, so I went to see Mom at Pearson. She only has a couple of hours before she leaves for her next flight. The truth is I miss having my mother in the house. I know she's away most of the time before my parents divorced, but at least you know -- she will be home.
As usual, the airport is loud and full of people coming in and out of the country. Pearson is one of the busiest airports globally, and if ever you had a chance to stop over here -- well, you'll know what I mean. I went through the automatic doors and looked for the coffee place my Mom said to meet her. It's called Second Cup. I recognize Mom with her navy blue uniform. She lost weight than the last time I saw her but still beautiful just the same.
"Mom."
