Suffering has a broad definition. Some say it is a state of experiencing pain, distress, or hardship. It can be physical or mental, but I would also add emotional suffering. These three types of suffering are currently wreaking havoc on my entire existence. My body is undergoing a transformation that I don’t understand, but the process is excruciating, leaving me aflame with boiling lava instead of blood. My mind is processing memories that, for some reason, have decided to emerge from hiding to remind me of all that I have lost throughout my life. And my heart, though it races as if sprinting, breaks into pieces every time an emotion overwhelms me and plunges me into despair. I have never felt such pain, and I pray it will end as soon as possible, regardless of the outcome. If I m
