(Dorian’s POV)
I try to stop Grace, to dissuade her from returning to the Stanley’s Estate.
But she doesn’t listen, insisting it's been over a month since she and Alexander signed the divorce papers. Their grace period is over. She can now get her divorce certificate.
She leaves, saying it’s time she stood up for herself, and made everything clear with them.
But I can’t stay calm.
I’ve seen wealthy families like them, who think they’re above everyone else. Even when their son makes a mistake, they won’t find fault with him. They blame the wife who was powerless to stop him.
The Stanleys won’t let her go easy, and after making a promise to protect her, I can’t sit still.
Grabbing my keys, I tell my security team to get moving and chase after her.
