(Grace’s POV)
A month passes in a blur.
The business courses at the university are challenging but rewarding. I'm learning things I never thought I'd understand—corporate finance, business law, market analysis.
One day after class, Professor Lindsey pulls me aside.
"You're doing exceptional work, Grace," she says. "Have you considered a career in corporate law?"
I smile. "I'm more interested in running a company than prosecuting one."
"Even better." She leans against her desk. "You have a gift for this. Don't waste it."
The words stay with me as I walk back to the penthouse.
