I don’t know how much longer I can hold myself together. Austin is always there for me, but the numbness is stronger in me this time.
Before I could even settle myself down in the current situation, I got another drastic news from the soldiers. They have found a wounded female wolf near Austin’s pack border.
And when they brought her to the hospital for treatment, it was Charity. She is unconscious. Her head is bleeding with heavy injury. One of her legs has been fractured badly.
“MOVE…” I ordered the nurse who was attending her and immediately asked for the required equipment for starting proper treatment.
I used my magic and everything else I had in me to treat her. To heal her wounds but her body needs time. Only time can heal her completely now.
