The first one to arrive was mom, with food and flowers. Luke was still asleep when she came, so we went out of the room to talk. I showed mom the email and photos, and she, too, was shocked.
" Do you think this Dan had something to do with the shooting? And who is this boy?" she pointed at the boy behind Dan.
" I don't know, mom. I wanted to ask Luke, but he's still asleep. I hope Dan will tell us the truth when he comes. I know him. He won't put Luke's life in danger. But if you take a look at this photo, I think he had no choice." I admitted to mom and was feeling sad and scared for Dan.
