BECCA immediately open her eyes when her hand touched an empty space beside her. She looked around the room but did not see her mate. There was no sound coming from the bathroom, too.
She get down from the bed. She grab the jacket from the hook at the back of the door before leaving the room.
She went to the kitchen and made two mugs of coffee. She already saw Mira’s form in the patio.
Holding the tray in hand, Becca made her way to her mate. She put the hot drink on top of the table.
Mira beamed at her when she saw the coffee.
She untied the jacket from her waist. She put it on her mate’s shoulder before sitting on the chair beside the petite woman.
This is not the first that she woke up in bed without Mira beside her. It was the third.
