IT was already nighttime when Becca enter the threshold of her parents’ house. She found her parents in the kitchen having coffee.
She smile at them. She advanced to the fridge and get herself a glass of water.
“I haven’t see you at the banquet.” It was her mother who asked.
She pour herself a glass of milk before facing her folks. Both of them were waiting for her answer.
“I had to do something urgent.”
“Mira was looking for you.”

She finished drinking the milk before turning her back from them. She went to the sink and clean the glass she used.
