I woke snuggled into their warmth. The sun hadn’t risen yet, but it wouldn’t be long before our delivery arrived.
Slipping from the bed quietly, I went into the bathroom, dropping to my knees just as I had yesterday. Sickness overtook me until sweat poured from my brow, and my ribs hurt from gagging. Finally, I could peel myself from the floor and make it through brushing my teeth and peeing without getting sick again, so I went into the kitchen and made coffee before mixing up some pancake batter. Some chocolate chip, some banana, some cookie and cream, and with the sweet smells floating around and my coffee in hand, I made breakfast for us, knowing that in about two hours, I would finally get my hands on a real lead… and a pregnancy test.
Brandon was the first to come into the
