Another day in the office and another hour of the usual lecturing from his parents. Except this time it was not a lecture but worse. They wanted him to accompany Eva to some grand charity ball as a way of apologizing for his outrage the other night.
“Why can’t James go with her? Social events and flirting around with anything in a skirt is more of his thing,” he stated.
“You are the one who cut off the deal in fit of rage. Besides, James was already going. He said he asked someone already some couple of weeks ago and she said yes. He would not say who but I would not be surprised if it’s one of competitors daughter,”
“That’s because she kissed me without my permission. She should be the one apologizing to me,” why was that his fault anyway? He was the victim here,
