During our free period, Chase and I headed to the front office. We found Courtney in the hallway. It looked like she was writing something done in a small book. She caught us looking as we continued to walk, and she stood up quickly.
"What is she doing?" I whispered to him. He looked just as curious as I was.
"Wait! Are you two going to the office?" she asked innocently, very much unlike herself. Chase and I both hesitated to answer, not knowing what to expect with her, especially today.
"Um, yes. We are going to talk to the principal about yesterday," I said and nudged Chase.
"Yeah, we need to go over a few things or whatever." He looked down at me, confused as to why I nudged him. I sighed. I wanted him more involved in this for some reason. I thought someone with his kind of popular
