During the shopping trip with the group, the need to grab Charlotte's hand and have her close to me was too strong and too much for me to handle. I wanted to run and get out of there. She has a mate is what I kept telling myself. Instead, I stood back and made sure they were safe while they shopped. I did promise Alpha Axel to take care of them with my life, after all.
I grabbed some things, but I made sure to always put their safety first.
