It was one thing to hear Tia’s confession from someone else and it was a whole different ball game to hear it from Tia. If it was someone else, Nikita knew that she wouldn’t give a f**k what she did to keep her from herself and Eldridge. But she liked Tia.
She didn’t know exactly what was going on but she knew enough to know her pain. Even if she couldn’t understand all of it, Nikita knew that she understood a bit of it.
“Are you two done or should I wait a little longer?”
Eldridge asked from outside the room.
“We’re not yet done,” Nikita responded, looking right at Tia. Hell, she didn’t even know what she wanted to hear from the woman, but she didn’t want her to dump her feelings on her just like that.
