It was all Nikita could feel when she came to. A splitting headache followed by an intense body ache that numbed her. Lifting her hand became a chore and she could only force her eyes to open. She found herself in her room once more. Elridge was nowhere to be seen and she couldn’t help but feel dejected.
Still, when she noticed how weak and how aching her body was, she was left speechless.
