I woke up to my phone ringing on the bedside table. Sage’s arms are around me and he’s deeply sleeping. I smiled to myself before kissing him softly on the cheek.
I slowly removed his arms around me and got up to answer my ringing phone. It was Tracy. I looked at the clock to check and was surprised to see her already awake at seven in the morning.
“Hello…” I answered as I slowly closed the door to walk towards the living room.
