“Y-you gave him my last name?” he asked.
“Like I said, I wasn’t going to keep him away from you for long”, I reminded him, and he nodded.
“Still, I missed so much” Jayden said.
“I… uh… I recorded what I could. I also took a few pictures showing off how big I was getting through the weeks”, I said, taking out my phone.
“Maddie… Maddie recorded the birth” I said with a blush.
“May I see?" he asked. I looked at Jayden and saw hope in his eyes, which made me nod. I sent him the videos and pictures. I then went to my desk and took out a picture that I had put away just for him.
“I had this one just for you” I said, placing the ultrasound picture in front of him. He took the picture and looked at it. You can see the outline of our son clearly.
