What Pree has said hurt my heart. Her words are intangible, but its power to bring pain is no less than a sharp knife. My heart shattered into a million pieces when she says to never appear before her again.
Still, what I have done to her is worse than this. So, I know I deserve this pain. But again, knowing and accepting are two different things.
These are what I am thinking in my head as I walk away from Pree. However, it does not take long for my feet to halt. And it takes even shorter for me to turn around.
“You are so stupid, Al. How can you leave her alone outside like this?” I smack my head and head back to where I have seen her. Even if she tells me not to appear before her, I can still do my role as a secret bodyguard. I will not let her notice. I have this in mind,
