Her hand throbbed as the nurse cleaned it out, eyes narrowed in concern. "Bumped it against a piece of wooden plank that had nails in it" she said suspiciously as Lacey nodded quietly, biting her lip as the disinfectant was poured over the wound, hissing at the stinging. "I went to pick it up and didn't pay attention, it was my own fault" Lacey said meekly. "Just strange that there was one lying around at all" muttered the nurse as she turned to retrieve her dressing and bandages. "I'll have to tell the groundskeeper to take more care next time" she sniped as Lacey flinched at her tone. She sat still, legs dangling over the hospital type bed, Dante placing a gentle hand on her back in reassurance, a silent Grey in the corner. There'd been a brief wait, evidently some poor student h
