I watch as Scott’s lawyer team gets ready to start. They call Danielle, my personal shopper to the stand. There’s not much I remember about her and what she said, but I did warn Rachel of who she was and the risk she presented. I didn’t have much contact with her other than the first few visits. She was in charge of my clothes, and that was all.
She did try to become my friend, or at least to pretend she was one, but I never liked her focus on money and prestige. When I told her that some of the clothes she was buying for me didn’t work for some of the places I visited, her answer was to stop going to those places.
