I know that after this, the win is ours, but it doesn't feel like a win. I have known Scott for years, and I know he is torn apart by everything. He is hurting, and no matter how much I hated his attitude when I first approached him about Camilla, I don't like watching him in pain.
I also doubt his testimony. He gave us the win on a silver plate by telling us about him sleeping with Sharon, but no matter how drunk he was, I don't buy it. He feels guilty and it's trying to give us the money to ease his guilt, but I'm afraid his lie can hurt Camilla who is already feeling vulnerable.
I see the moment the lawyer realizes there's nothing he can do for damage control, Scott is actively sabotaging himself at this point.
