I sat and watched his every move silently. He just pacing back and forth making my head dizzy. But it seemed he had been talking to someone.
" We can't stay here longer," he said, and a string of curses left his mouth as he kicked a stone out of his way.
" Fu*k," he cursed before storming out of the cave.
I waited for a few moments, listening to any sound that could confirm he was outside. But when I didn't hear anything I stood up and slowly made my way to the exit. After looking both ways I ran away.
Tears were spilling out as I kept running away from that cave thinking I should have listened to Alastair.
