The melodic chime of the locking mechanism opening was like listening to the melody of the gods. Tears flooded my eyes as her door automatically slid open and I rushed inside. I threw my arms around her, careful of her injuries and the wires and IV’s attached to her. Caroline worked around me to disconnect her from everything and make sure she was stable enough to get out of here.
Julianna winced in pain but she steeled her nerves as she made her way to the door. I knew she didn't want to talk about what she went through just like I wasn't ecstatic about opening up about my time in this house of horrors. Now wasn't the time anyways.
“Here” Percy said, tossing a pair of scrubs towards all of us. “I found these in the storage closet. It's better than running around naked.”
