Samantha had gone to them both and wrapped them into her arms. I would be lying if I said I wasn't shedding a few tears. This was a hard situation all the way around. It was painful no matter which way you looked at it or went about it.
“How come you never told any of us?” she whispered to him as she held him close like he was one of her children.
“We didn't know how! We didn't want to cause anyone anymore pain and by the time we felt ready, it had been so long that we didn't know how to bring it up. We just didn't know.” James said through quick breaths. I could hear the pain in his voice.
