Maverick's eyes widened slightly. I chewed on my bottom lip as I stared up at him. I really hope he's picking up what I'm trying to say.
"Uhm, let me take you back then." He said as he pushed out his chair. "You guys stay and enjoy the town for a bit." He told our friends.
Maverick grabbed my hand, and pulled me to my feet. We hadn't even made it one step before Sally interrupted.
"Good, I'll come with you guys." She said.
"Seriously." I grumbled.
"Stay here and enjoy the town, Sal," Maverick told her.
"Yeah Sal." I chimed in.
Maverick looked down at me, and raised his eyebrow. I shrugged at him. He shook his head before turning his attention back to Sally.
"Sally, we.. would really.. like it.. if you stayed with us." Brooke struggled
