I heard rumors about Genevieve’s condition when Atreyu found her, but I figured everybody was exaggerating. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that everything was true, and that made me feel horrible about the way I was behaving.
When I left the Red Thorn Kingdom, I did so with no intention of returning, and I felt the same way about the Dark Mountain Kingdom.
